covenant families

The Covenantal nature of our congregation means children are part of the congregation.

Covenant Families is a ministry focused on living these truths.  

 

Covenant Families meets twice a month on Sunday evenings with dinner provided. One meeting provides a lesson for children; the other meeting provides time for discussion and prayer among parents (and anyone else interested in nurturing our children).

 

This ministry is designed for two-year-olds all the way to 5th graders and their parents. The expectation is that families would participate together in praise, prayer, and learning. Ideally, a parent(s) should attend with his or her child(ren). Parents best disciple their children by participating with their children in the ministries of the Church.  

 

A detailed program plan for Covenant Families is provided on promotion Sunday in August. Generally, instruction is on fundamental Biblical teaching.
