Continue to pray for the Lord’s strength and wisdom for the many who are caring for loved ones through health struggles, particularly for the Myers and Alexanders, that the Lord would sustain them with His presence and His rest.
Pastor Rob will be on vacation the next two weeks. If you have any needs please call Pastor Matt or one of the elders.
Pathfinders will meet for Dinner and Discussion from 5:30-7:30PM at Trinity.
Choir will meet at 4:30 PM for rehearsal.
The Annual Picnic will be October 28th immediately following the worship service.
Bible Studies - Please join one of our regular Bible Studies - Wednesday evening study of Genesis open to everyone at 7 p.m.; Thursday morning Ladies Study on the Son of David at 10 a.m. (both meet at the Annex and provide childcare); or the every other week Men’s study on Tuesday (see Kevin Lanclos for details)
Trinity’s “Preserving Our Present” meeting will be the evening of Saturday, October 27. This is the first of perpetual, seasonal events designed to equip all Trinity members (not just parents) in keeping their baptismal vow to “undertake the responsibility of assisting the parents in the Christian nurture of this child”. The theme, “Preserving Our Present” will specifically address the Biblical model for faithfully discipling to our covenant children. More information is available on the flyer in the hall.
Raise the Roof - The Persecuted Church Ministry Team has two ways we can support believers suffering for the cause of Christ. First there is a daily prayer guide on the back table for everyone to take home and pray through each day. Secondly, we invite you to pray about participating with us in Project Nehemiah through Samaritan’s Purse which helps Iraqi Christians displaced by ISIS rebuild their homes and restart their lives. We can rebuild a home for $2500 (90% of contributions go straight to beneficiaries). If you would like the Prayer guide by email please speak to Pastor Rob or Dana Little.
Saturday, November 3 from 8:30 AM-noon, the Deacons and the Women’s Ministry Team are sponsoring the Fall Morning of Service to help with various indoor/outdoor projects for women in our church who are living alone and projects around the church building. Servants of all ages are welcome. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer.
Operation Christmas Child shares the Gospel message with every child before they open their shoeboxes filled with gifts. They then are given the opportunity to participate in The Greatest Journey, where they learn to follow Christ and share Him with others. It all starts with a simple gift. Will you prayerfully consider participating in this exciting ministry? Empty shoeboxes will be available Oct. 28th.
